We're Back! Mark Your Calendars

Updated: Aug 30, 2021

Autumn is officially here, and you know what that means! Your tree ripe, fresh eating Georgia Citrus season is almost here. Joe and Bill have been nurturing this years crop, working towards the finest quality they have produced for you yet! Due to cooler weather, this season's citrus is ripening to perfection early. The local farm stand in Statesboro will open October 16th, along with local farmers markets and venders shortly after. Also, Mail order will open early November. Following are some highlights to be looking forward to during Harvest 2020:

Ā

  • Grape fruit production has greatly increased this year with trees becoming more mature. We believe that our grapefruit is far superior to what is found commonly on the market, but you be the judge!

Ā

  • Lemons, lemons, and more lemons! Production has significantly gone up this year. Our Meyer Lemons are large, sweet, and tart. They are perfect for making lemonade or cooking. Look for them mostly at the farm stands, but also keep an eye out for them at local farmers markets.

Ā

  • Satsuma Honey?! You heard that right! The Bees Knees out of Brooklet, Georgia brought their ladies to the grove this spring. A stunning recipe of nature that resulted in a sweet, smooth, citrus flavored premium honey that is absolutely Unbelievable!

Ā

  • The farm stand will be bigger and better than ever! Weā€™ve added a new rocked parking lot along with several updates to welcome our expanding visitors. Look for more diverse inventory and get your Georgia Grown products at the stand.

Ā

  • Updated website will launch soon! You will be able to pre-order your holiday shipments in advance this year along with faster turn around on shipping if desired ASAP. This will help better insure your shipping needs. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for current updates. We are looking forward to having the best season yet!

Ā

  • And don't forget about the Satsumas and Sweet Georgia Kisses that started it all. The quality is looking to be the best weā€™ve grown yet. We are excited to share it with you. Harvest 2020 here we come!
