As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to reflect on all
that we’re thankful for– and to express our deep gratitude to each and everyone of you who has supported Franklin’s Citrus Farm throughout the year.
First and foremost, we hope that you are enjoying this special holiday surrounded by loved ones, laughter, and, of course, delicious food. Here at Franklin’s Citrus Farm, we’ve been especially fortunate this year. After months of tending to our groves and carefully watching every tree, we’re beyond thrilled to have harvested a plentiful crop of citrus. The trees have been generous, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the abundance we’ve seen.
This year’s harvest has been especially rewarding. From the sweet, delicious oranges to the tangy, juicy tangerines, or citrus has been ripening to perfection. The perfect combination of Georgia’s both sunny and cooler days has created an ideal growing environment, and we’ve watched it allow our crop to flourish while exceeding our expectations. As we pack each box of fruit to send out to markets, stores, and families, we feel a great sense of pride knowing that we are sharing part of our farm with you.
It's moments like these that make the hard work and long hours worth it. Every season presents new challenges, but it’s the support from the community that makes it all possible. Without your enthusiasm for fresh, locally grown citrus, our farm wouldn’t be able to farm in the way it does. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
Although the fall and winter is our busiest season, the holidays remind us to slow down and appreciate the things we often take for granted. For many of you, our citrus fruits have become a part of your Thanksgiving traditions. Maybe you’ve started your morning with a fresh Satsuma mandarin as breakfast, or perhaps you’ve added some citrus zest to your favorite holiday desserts. We love knowing that our fruits are playing a role in your celebrations.
As we reflect on the abundance of this year’s harvest, we are also reminded of the many hands that help make it all possible. Our farm wouldn’t be the same without our dedicated team of workers who pour their hearts into every season. From planting and pruning to picking and packing, it’s their hard work and dedication that keeps our farm running smoothly. We’re thankful for every member of our team and the role they play in making Franklin’s Citrus Farm what it is today.
Of course, we can’t forget about you–the ones who make our work truly meaningful. We are so grateful to have built relationships with so many of you over the years, whether you’re a loyal customer who’s been with us from the beginning or someone who just discovered our farm this season. We know that you have many choices when it comes to where you buy your produce, and we are incredibly honored that you choose Franklin’s Citrus Farm.
As we enjoy this Thanksgiving season and reflect on what we’ve accomplished, we’re also looking forward to the future. The lessons we’ve learned, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the relationships we’ve built will continue to guide us as we work to make each year even better. In the upcoming months, we’ll be working hard to continue providing high quality citrus while also preparing for many seasons to come.
From all of us here at Franklin’s Citrus Farm, we wish you a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
With gratitude,
The Franklin’s Citrus Farm Team
