Bill Renz

Bill Renz is from Alva, Florida and grew up among Citrus Groves. From backyard trees to family owned groves, farm stands and packing houses, it was just a part of life growing up. Bill moved to Statesboro in 2008 and shortly after started managing a local plant nursery. It was there he met Joe Franklin, a regular at the nursery. One day, Joe came in and mentioned he had just planted 200 Satsuma Mandarins. This naturally caught his attention, reminding him of home. Joe invited him to see it for himself, and the rest is history. Now a days he has become an active partner at Franklin's Citrus Farm. Bill and Joe team up to grow a successful crop all year long managing the farm. Once season begins, Bill manages much of the marketing in retail, wholesale, and logistics.
