Bill Renz

Farmer Bill Renz originates from Alva, Florida, where he grew up surrounded by citrus groves. From backyard trees to family-owned groves, farmstands, and packinghouses, citrus was simply a way of life. In 2008, Bill moved to Statesboro and began managing a local plant nursery. It was there that he met Joe Franklin, a regular customer. One day, Joe mentioned he had just planted 200 satsuma mandarins, instantly catching Bill’s attention and reminding him of home. Joe invited him to see the grove, and the rest is history.

Today, Bill is an active partner at Franklin’s Citrus Farm. Alongside Joe, he helps manage the farm year-round, from cultivation to harvest. When citrus season begins, Bill takes the lead on marketing, wholesale, retail, and logistics, ensuring every fruit reaches its perfect destination.
